You're welcome, and I hope you get a chance to try Fangirl. Good stuff!
DeleteOh, nice. I will keep an eye out for your giveaway. Hallowe'en Party is a great pick. :) I need to read something Halloween-y next week myself.
ReplyDeleteliking the look of The Clockwork Scarab. The title suggests something Egyptian, the cover something something Victorian. Not entirely exclusive I'm hoping it is a story of an Egyptian treasure based in the Victorian period.
ReplyDeleteI think its both, a little Victorian and a little Egyptian. I saw a review somewhere and it made me want to get it. :)
DeleteI have Letters From Skye sitting on my shelf and I'd really like to get to it...one of these days, sigh ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I think you'll like it when you get to it, I thought it was great. I enjoyed not only the love story but the mother/ daughter dynamic, trying to understand each other.
DeleteA giveaway for Fangirl! That sounds exciting! :D
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading Greg!
Yeah I'm excited about it, should be fun. Thanks for stopping Rashika!
DeleteThe Clockwork Scarab sounds interesting. Enjoy! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting. Yeah I'm kinda excited about that one.
DeleteLooks like you are busy Greg!! And a giveaway for FanGirl!! I will be back for that for sure. I know how much you loved that book!! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThanx for visiting My Weekly Wrap-Up!
Naomi @ Nomi’s Paranormal Palace
Yeah come on by. Have a good one Naomi!
DeleteYay! I spent a lot of time as a kid in the Leland area. I try to visit every year, have not made it there yet this year due to my daughter's wedding.
ReplyDeleteYeah I was excited to see that, love it up there. That area is really getting a lot of exposure lately as people discover it.
DeleteThanks Andy. I'll be over to check that out... :)
ReplyDeleteI like Leland as well, what a great area. :) We try to get up there every summer. :)
ReplyDeleteI have never read Agatha Christie before. It is shameful. Lol. Hallwe'en Party looks really good!
Err, Hallowe'en Party.
DeleteThanks for coming by!
ReplyDeleteI need to read Agatha Christie again. I've always loved her books and it's been so long! Good stuff!
I'm enjoying it, but its taking me forever to read it- been so busy! Need...more...reading time. :) Thanks for stopping!
DeleteI hope you're liking A Conspiracy of Alchemists! I really liked it, it's a very interesting mix of quite a few genres.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading.
Thanks Maja. I'm liking it so far, the MC is kinda cool an airship owner who will take questionable cargoes! Definetly interesting...
DeleteI'll be interested to see your thoughts on A Clockwork Scarab! I liked the story, but found the characters a little stereotypical. Loved the Letters from Skye interview. I know what she means about the feeling of the place; it really gets under your skin. I still have vivid memories of my visit there.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lark. Sounds like a neat place, so elemental and stark. I can see where a place like that would fire the imagination.
DeleteYeah I'll see about Clockwork, I read your review and almost passed because of it, but thought well I'll give it a try. Not sure how I'll like it, should be interesting.
