What book (or TV show or movie) have you not read that seemingly everyone else has?
That one is kinda easy- I have to go with
Divergent.
I've heard a lot about this one (and the sequel and the upcoming book 3) and often think "am I the only blogger who hasn't read these?" And I probably am... so I should take the plunge. I definetly want to read the books before seeing the movie...
Anyone else out there that has not read these yet?
I need to read the Divergent Series too!

Hey I'm not alone, thats good to know. :) Thanks for stopping!
DeleteI haven't read it either. I'm really not that much of a fan of dystopian fiction.
ReplyDeleteHi Lark! I'm kinda new to dystopian, since I've been blogging I've read a lot more of it than before. Some I like and some I don't...
DeleteI confess, I love this series. One of my favorites. I think I've read Divergent 3 times, and will read it again this month before Allegiant comes out.

Thanks Jenny. It does seem to have very devoted fans! Makes me very curious about it!
DeleteI haven't read it either, though it is on my TBR list. I'm not a huge fan of dystopian. I think I've suffered burnout. Thanks for stopping by my FF! Followed via GFC

Thank you! It's good to know there are others, I feel better! Ha ha one of these days I'll tackle it...
DeleteIt's so nice to know I'm not the only blogger who hasn't read it either. lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! :)
Megan @ Books i View
You too Megan, I know the feeling!
DeleteI haven't read Divergent either. Another victim on the TBR pile. New Bloglovin' follower.
ReplyDeleteTraci @ I forgot about Jennifer L. Armentrout and Cassandra Clare. They've both become victims of my TBR mountain. Hopefully one day I'll rescue them and get the books read. Thanks for stopping by and I'm following you on Bloglovin'

Yeah I've seen those authors pop up once or twice too LOL. Too many books!
DeleteLooks like there are several people who haven't read Divergent, either! You're not alone! I've read Divergent and Insurgent, and really enjoyed them. I'm looking forward to the movie, and you should definitely read at least Divergent before seeing the movie. Hope you love the books, and thanks for stopping by my blog the other day! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrea, maybe I'll try and sneak Divergent in, I know the movie is coming fast!
DeleteI read Divergent and Insurgent only about a month or two ago and I loved it! Its definatly one of my favourites of the year. With the movie coming out soon and Allegiant released this month, it really is worth your time to read.
ReplyDeleteP.S Thanks for stopping by my blog, hope you liked it!
Thank you Hagar! I do think I'll give them a try, I've heard nothing but good things.
DeleteI've read them. At least you can read them one after the other (or in a relatively short timespan) and not have to wait. It's fun to be reading a series when everyone is all excited about it, but sometimes it's nice to be able to read all the books close together too. I lose details when I have to wait a year for the next book to come out.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, I've read some series lately where the third book is due out next year and I'm like, how much of this am I going to remember? :)
DeleteI've enjoyed this series, but not as much as, say. The Hunger Games. I'm still debating whether or not I want to buy Allegiant (which I would do for a series I LOVE) or just wait for it at the library.
ReplyDeleteI hope the film does well. I can't see it being anywhere close to as successful as The Hunger Games or Twilight, but surely it will do better than that Mortal Instruments movie.
Stephanie @ Inspiring Insomnia
I was sitting in the bookstore the other day and I grabbed Divergent just to read a few chapters, and it was pretty good. Didn't blow me away but seemed like a good solid series. So I'm sure I'll read 'em one of these days.
DeleteAgree about the movie, it'll probably fall somewhere between those two extremes. Hopefully it won't flop.
No, you're not the only blogger Greg....*slowly raises hand* I haven't either!! Maybe one day, I have it on my TBR list, just don't have the time!!!
ReplyDeleteThanx for visiting my FF!

I know it! I thought everybody was going to be like dude you haven't read those yet???? I was surprised how many people haven't. So I feel better. :)
DeleteHave a good one Naomi!
I am not surprised because I have other friends who haven't read this book yet. But seriously, you should try it. It's full of female badassery if you're into that thing. :D I've read the two books and I should say that Book 1 was good and the second book was kind of meh. But don't let my opinion influence you. Take your time. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. New follower on bloglovin!
Thanks Charlotte, good to know. I do like a bit of female badassery from time to time. :) I'll give these a shot.
