"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at
Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
This week is
The Falconer by
Elizabeth May.
Publication date May 2014 US/ Sept 2013 UK
The title grabbed me first, and the blurb sealed the deal. A proper lady slaying faeries in 1844 Scotland. A little steampunk- ish? Sounds like it might be a touch gritty. I'll be all over this... oh and check out the author's teaser pictures at
Goodreads. Quite funny and made me want to read this even more. This should be good.
Great pick this week! It was on my WoW a few weeks ago. Who doesn't love a touch of Steampunk in their fantasy?
