Sunday Post #460

Well this week I started rewatching Travelers- my recap posts should be up soon.

Also this past week Jenni Elyse emailed me some amazing pulp covers. Seriously, these are better than any I've recently found. See for yourself.

I'm reading one of my favorite recent novellas again to refamiliarize myself with the characters.

  4. Oh, I needed that laugh! I finally made through Friday. Lots of children's books to catalogued..then a co-worker came in who couldn't taste nor smell anything. She even went to get a milk tea just nearby just to make sure. So she worked that day, but the next day the director told her she had to go to have a Covid test professionally done since maybe the ones she'd done at home just weren't right. While that was happening my boss had to leave early with a sore throat and cough. She said she needed ginger. Luckily, the co-worker is OK. I then found out from another co-worker that her daughter has COVID. Not sure about my boss. Oh..to feel doomed. Thankfully, a friend called and told me I should be reading Jane Harper. Have you read her? A British Australian author. P.s...thanks for your comments. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

    1. OK..so I went on a hunt for Joel Adams and came across a fan fic that some girl named Jess who wrote about Joel (the pop singer). Funny thing, when I first read it, I was getting a 50's vibe then of course, I had to go to YOU TUBE to find Joel Adams from 2015. Oh, WAKE UP CALL..I had forgot about him..hahahaa..and to think I thought I was on to something..NOT.

  5. What's with that supposed Sylvia Plath pulp novel? LOL. I didn't understand, until I googled the "title" and I found out it comes from a place where people post mock covers...but seriously...using her poetry for that? 👀

  20. Ha the pulp covers are fun. They remind me of the old Travis McGee covers although even more racy. They have a nice beach sort of flavor too.

  39. My eyebrows climbed up into my hairline when I saw those book covers. They're fantastic! And Sylvia Plath? Wow! Okay, I see in other comments that the cover is kind of a spoof or something. I haven't read Sylvia Plath but that cover didn't fit what I know of her! :-)

    Enjoy your week!
