Sunday Post #446

Another week- I have been playing a lot of Lord of the Rings Online. My plan this week is to hopefully get some of those reviews I have pending.

  1. LOTR online? Is it an MMO? I will have to look into this.

  2. And..here I've been looking for Naked Noodles and trying to figure out if this whole Will Smith thing with Chris Rock was staged or not. I guess they are trying their best to keep the war off our minds. Cool bookcover. Hope the reviews are successful!

    1. No problem at all about Rylie. After all, she knows more about another character in the triangle of things.

How are you doing with the Paris Apartment? I had to get the last of my SHINGLES vaccine and what a whammy. I am better today but the last two days I have had cold chills and achey so I haven't done much of anything.

    2. Thanks for the SONG OF THE WEEK. Our Oceans of Possibilities reading program starts at the library. Oddly, all the LOGOS from this affiliated program had various phallic symbols (One was supposed to be a lighthouse) so our Maker's Space made their own.

  3. I look forward to reading your reviews. As always, I enjoyed listening to the music you shared in this post. :)

  4. LOTR online sounds like fun. That book cover is so cool. It looks like 1950's?

  5. Wait there's a Lord of the Rings game? I thought it was just movies and books 😅

  7. I was curious about your online LOR gameplay. Tell me more.

  8. Great pulp cover; nothing like some of those covers from days gone by. Have a nice weekend.

  12. I've been reading but I haven't written reviews for the last 6 books I've read. We both have reviews to write.

  13. Lord of the Rings online sounds awesome. And I can't wait for the review. :)

  14. All the best with those reviews. Although I know LOTR games online I bet can just take you into another realm and time flies.

  15. I hope you continue to enjoy playing LOTR online and are able to catch up on those reviews. My recent obsession is playing Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on my phone... I have a very spring inspired campsite and cabin now! But like you should probably catch up on my mammoth review list instead! 😅

  16. For me, the last time has been very intense, so I'm slowly trying to get back to normal life. Although in the face of refugees and the war "behind the fence" it is difficult.

  17. Minimalistic post today Greg! Enjoy LOTR game ;-)

  18. Has that game been around a while? I played a LOTR game online a few years back! That and Everquest and WoW and Star Wars Galaxies. LOL. I haven't gamed in such a long time! My husband is playing a game called Valheim right now.

  19. I have been a bit slacking in reviews myself. I need to get back into the blog more than I have been.

Have a great week and happy reading!

  25. I actually play LOTRO with my husband, who is even older than I am. Not just for kids, and keeps our thoughts sharp. Have a good week.

  37. Online games can be so distracting, can't they?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Nice, getting to those pending reviews is my current goal too! It's been busy, and whenever I have time to write I just don't feel motivated enough, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Good luck with getting those reviews done, I’m a few behind too.
Have you tried Elden Ring yet?

Wishing you a great reading week

  40. Nothing wrong with a lot of time gaming. I've got a renewed love for Sims 4, even though they still need to fix a load of bugs, and I don't mind I'm not reviewing things. Gave fun with LOTR online.

  41. I am loving the ‘prefer’ in the title of the pulp cover — prefer to what? 😊 its also very dramatic, isn’t it?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hope you enjoy your gaming and get your reviews done. Have a great week!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'm really trying to do reviews quicker, and schedule ahead. LOL

  44. I've been lagging a bit on reviews too. I used to write them immediately after finishing a book. Now I often wait a couple of days and have read another books or two before writing. I know I much prefer reading to writing, but I have to do better or I forget what I want to say. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  45. Good luck to writing those reviews!

  46. I am digging the pulp cover. Just because the title intrigues me lol

    ReplyDelete
  47. I hope you are able to get caught up on your reviews soon!

  48. A Lord of the Rings Game? That sounds amazing. Good luck with your reviews and hope you'll have a great week!

  49. I think you commented on a book I was reading a couple of weeks ago, Paperbacks from Hell by Grady Hendrix. I don't know if you've ever been into horror at all but if you aren't completely turned off by the genre, I think you would enjoy at least flipping through that book. It includes so many pulpy horror covers from the '70s and '80s! I thought of you as soon as I flipped through it at the library.

I need to catch up on reviews too. I'm always behind on something.

Enjoy your week and your game!

  50. I do The Conqueror Challenges where you track distance you walk or bike or whatever and track it on a virtual road trip and they just released a huge Lord of the Ring package. It sounds amazing and the medals are even better looks. I thought of you as soon as I saw it! I hope you are having a wonderful week.
