  3. I still haven't read The Wanderers! But still want to. Why do I not know about The cats of Tanglewood Forest?

  5. Ahh, Jurassic Park! That's a perfect one!

  6. Oooo, you picked some good ones! The only books with animals I avoid are the ones based on a dogs life, and they ultimately die and I cry.

I like those vintage Tarzan covers.

  7. Mrs. Frisby and Jurassic Park, oh, well chosen! But the Tanglewood Cats look adorable, and Blake & Mortimer looks like all kinds of Indiana Jones fun, I'm going to look them up!

  8. I have not read any of these. At first glance I thought the mouse on the one cover was Stuart Little. Here is my post- https://paigesofbook.blogspot.com/2021/04/top-ten-tuesday-animals-from-books.html.

  9. I'm so picky about animals in my books. I get really irritated by bad owners and can't read abuse at all. But you went in a fun direction with the topic.

  10. Animals in books are usually fun -- unless they are sad. You have some good ones here!

  11. I was never able to get into Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, probably because I was terrified of rats. And I haven't read most of the others here, but I'm definitely going to check out that Charles de Lint book! My library has it, so I'll borrow it from there at some point.

  12. JURASSIC PARK is a great pick! That one definitely features animals, and terrifying ones at that. MRS. FRISBY is also on my list. That story fascinated - and scared me - as a kid.

    Happy TTT!
