Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten list will be posted. Everyone is welcome to join. Link back so everyone can check out other bloggers' lists. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.

This week is books that would make good song titles. Fun one! I had to look around though- at my bookshelves, at Goodreads- to get some inspiration. Here's what I came up with.

Panic

Bad Girls With Perfect Faces

Shatter Me

I can just hear this being screamed by The Pretty Reckless or whatever

Wreck

Contagion

This would be timely!

So Long Thanks For All The Fish

After The Lights Go Out

Wilder Girls

This Is Not A Test

Five total Strangers

Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick

  2. Ooo! I like 'Shatter Me' for a song title. I feel like it'd be a good angsty one. :)

  4. Most of them wouldn't be very optimistic songs, would they? LOL. Bad Girls with Perfect Faces sounds intriguing though and So Long and Thanks For All The Fish would definitely be hilarious.

    1. You're right... looking back they all seem pretty depressing, right? Hmm what does that say about my mood haha?

  10. Great list! I can see some of these being really fun punk-rock type of songs (especially with that last book title)! I can imagine Bad Girls with Perfect Faces being a really fun upbeat song as well 😃

  11. Fact: The Smiths have a most excellent song called Panic. This is Not a Test could be one of the really moody songs or punk

  12. I can totally see The Pretty Reckless doing a song called Shatter Me! Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick would be such a fun pop-punk song :)

  13. These do make fun song titles though I wouldn't read them. I really like the title - bad girls with perfect faces - I'm thinking a boy band would sing this and in the music video, a group of them with youthful, innocent looking faces are surrounded by supposedly bad girls in leather outfits taunting them somehow.

    Have a lovely week.

  14. I love the titles you picked here, Bad Girls With Perfect Faces was a particular fave. Ironically of the two of the books I've read here, Panic & Wilder Girls, I wasn't a fan of either, but I do agree the titles are very fitting for songs.

  28. Yes there are a few good ones there! I was too lazy to do this one this week. I like Bad Girls With Perfect Faces, So long and thanks for all the fish (could be a EU Brexit song!) and the Au Revoir one!

  29. I’m another one who can’t see anything, just the logo but I’ll assume you had some great choices, you always do!

  30. Bad Girls with Perfect Faces feels like a Bon Jovi song, perhaps because it reminds me of You Give Love a Bad Name. Great choices!

  35. What a fun topic, and I'd definitely want to listen to some of these! I can just imagine what sort of songs they might be. Bad Girls could be like a Halsey kinda song. Contagion would maybe be rock? After the Lights Go Out would be chill. Lol.

  36. Panic! is a band dammit! (Ok, technically they're Panic! At the Disco, but the emo children know what I mean when I say Panic!) ;)
