Another week and now Christmas season is here. Did everyone who celebrates have a great feast day? We had a good one with all the usual food and snackies. We watched Charlie Brown Thanksgiving after dinner and then settled in for a viewing of White Christmas, which might be our favorite holiday movie. A great way to start off the Christmas season!

This week I returned to the realm of discussion posts- it's been a while! Do you decorate w/ books? It was nice to see what everyone thought on that topic.

Anyways, have an awesome week!

BOOKISH LINKS

This is nice- a marine center and some cool stepping stones on the water.

This one I love how they have this open park like area in this amazing mall, which is connected to a transit station and everything is just hopping.

Awesome Gundam robot statue. This one's only 2.5 minutes.

And to close- this is amazing!

  1. Glad to hear you had a nice Thanksgiving. Ours was good too. We kept it small and it was actually 70 degrees here so we had our feast outside on the deck. It felt more like a 4th of July BBQ than Thanksgiving but it was really nice.

  4. The Walking on Water video is wonderful! 😃

We had traditional fare, but I had Baz buy frozen rolls in case I didn't feel like baking and I didn't realize they had to rise for six hours before baking. 😅 So, we didn't have rolls until today, but they were great with leftovers. 😊 Happy to hear you had a good one. 🍂

Have a wonderful new week! 🌞

    1. Isn't it amazing?

I love rolls. Ours didn't really turn out this year though so they were a bust. :) I can eat those all days though!

      You also!!!

  5. Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving. We had a good day just with the family, lots of food! I don't know about where you live, but here where I am it's been "Christmas season" since even before Halloween, I couldn't believe how early the stores were putting out Christmas stuff and people putting up lights. I guess this year folks are getting their celebrations and happiness in whenever and wherever they can though, so I get that :)

I’m not sure the piles of books on any available surface is really an acceptable decorating style :)

Wishing you a great reading week

  21. I didn't catch Charlie Brown this year but I did watch the Macy's parade which is something I hadn't done in many years. And (confession time): I've never actually seen White Christmas. Ack!

  22. Glad you have had such a lovely Thanksgiving, Greg:)). We are now working out what to do about Christmas, given we are currently in Tier 2 COVID restrictions, so a general gathering of the clan is going to be out this year. But even so, we'll do the best we can to be together with our families... I loved the footage of the huge robot and the sea walk. Thank you so much for the links!
