Top Ten Tuesday 218

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten list will be posted. Everyone is welcome to join. Link back so everyone can check out other bloggers' lists. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.

This week is Top Ten books that make me hungry. Food! Always a fun topic. I decided to go with covers that reflect food so this was great. And now I need a yummy snack.

Love & Gelato (Love & Gelato, #1)

This has to be the top of my list!

Love & Olives (Love & Gelato, #3)

Greece- plus food!

Death with All the Trimmings (Key West Food Critic Mystery, #5)

Key West and food!

Number One Chinese Restaurant

Chinese food!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder (Hannah Swensen, #1)

I love all these covers!

Blackberry Pie Murder (Hannah Swensen, #17)

The Secret, Book, & Scone Society (Secret, Book, & Scone Society #1)

The Book of Candlelight (Secret, Book, & Scone Society, #3)

Butter Off Dead (A Food Lovers' Village Mystery, #3)

Eight Hundred Grapes

This is all about wine. Close enough, right?

  2. I'm lucky...I did a food related TTT post last year that I never posted so I was able to put it straight in for this week and save time. Oh that poor bird on Number One Chinese Restaurant! I always feel bad for it!

  15. There are SO many cozy mysteries set in bakeries, cafes, restaurants, etc. That's one of the reasons they're so enjoyable :)

    Happy TTT!

  17. The cover of Number One Chinese Restaurant is hilarious! I actually read Eight Hundred Grapes but I'd completely forgotten about it.

  18. I really want to read the Love and Gelato and Love and Olives books! Love the Butter Off Dead cover too.

  19. The first one 'love & gelato' and second looks like romance while the others are murder mysteries. I haven't read any of these so I'm guessing.

I thought that one 'Butter off dead' read 'Better off bread' but it's not. Don't quite know what 'Butter off dead' means, it sounds so strange to me.

    Have a lovely day.

  30. Nice list! I love fiction that includes lots of food as part of the plot, though some "cozy" mysteries overdo it a bit for my preferences.

  33. There are so many cozies about food. Ha ha. 😁

  34. I don't really like reading about food - my synaesthesia means I taste words and reading about food is confusing at best. Plus the lifelong vegetarianism means anything involving consuming dead things makes me uncomfortable!
