Tuesday Tagline #185

The Immortals (Olympus Bound, #1)

Manhattan has many secrets. Some are older than the city itself...  😳

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten list will be posted. Everyone is welcome to join. Link back so everyone can check out other bloggers' lists. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.

This week is Top Ten Books I Enjoyed But Rarely Talk About.

All Systems Red (The Murderbot Diaries, #1)

I mean, I have talked about this series quite a bit (especially when it appeared) but I haven't talked about it LATELY.

Obsidian and Stars (Ivory and Bone, #2)

I don't talk about this one a lot (or the first book) but I really liked this prehistoric setting and would like to read more of her stuff.

Replica (Replica, #1)

I really liked this one. I mean, clones!

Wreck

This was pretty good.

Slated (Slated, #1)

I loved the Slated series.

Heir to the Jedi (Star Wars: Empire and Rebellion, #3)

Probably my favorite Star Wars book.

Radio Silence

I'm due for a re- read of this.

Lost Girls

This one was awesome.

The Girls in the Garden

My first Lisa Jewell book and my favorite.

Bad Girls with Perfect Faces

Wow.

  1. There are so many good books I mention all the time but many more that are good but I rarely mention. Weird, huh? My TTT list

  10. I haven’t read Replica yet, which is shocking because I live Lauren Oliver books! I have read pretty much everything else from her. I think I need to give it a go soon.

  20. Love the cover to The Immortals. It's weird how there are some books we just can't stop talking about, and then other books that we really liked that sometimes we forget to mention.

  26. I feel like the only secrets Manhattan has at the moment is like "where'd we stash the ventilators?" but alas. (Too soon? Too soon.) I feel like we'll all be talking about Murderbot plenty when the new book comes out next month. Crazy, it feels like ages ago when it was announced and here we are. I want to read Obsidian and Stars maybe. The author's most recent book was really good, you should give that one a go. I realize that I never read the sequel to Replica. Oops?

  30. How have I only read one of these books on your list? I read Slated so long ago I hardly remember what happened and it went the way of so many series for me and I never finished for no apparent reason. There are a couple of books which are on my TBR though, like All Systems Red.

  31. Lisa Jewell is an author I see everywhere but that one just kind of disappeared right after it came out. I forgot I hadn't read it! It's funny how some books just don't seem to catch on.

  32. I have the Murderbot books 1-3 now from grabbing them on ebook sale. Hopefully by next year I'll have them all. Has she said how many there will be? 🚀

  33. As I was reorganizing my library, I just moved my unread copy of Replica. I really need to read that! And the Julie Eshbaugh series sounded good, but I never got around to that either. Glad to hear both are worth a read!

  34. The only one I've read is Replica and I remember really enjoying it (and also the way its written) but I also don't remember anything about it now 😂 Did you read the sequel? Will check out the Lisa Jewell book--it looks really good! Great list!
