Sunday Post #314

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer
Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews
It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by Book Date

So this week I got back on track a little, doing some blogging and even some *gasp* reading! Yay me. And Movies That Suck returned! For a while there I wasn't really feeling any movies but I'm happy to report that inspiration (if you want to call it that) struck and I now have a short list of candidates for future posts. Isn't that exciting? Oh, and I just added Sucker Punch to the list. Has anyone seen that?

In other news I don't know if anyone noticed this last week but there's a really cool short Benjen Stark story below. I thought this was really well done.
\

Otherwise I'll be reviewing Someone We Know on Thursday (finally), and oh I almost forgot. I saw this cool looking podcast this week- looks like the first episode is out. Does this sound awesome or what?

  1. I don't think I have seen Sucker Punch. I look forward to your recap of the film. And I look forward to your review of Someone We Know. I am glad you have been getting more reading in. I meant to this week, but somehow got distracted by a silly game on my phone. I really need to delete it.

Oh my gosh, those covers! LOL I needed a good laugh tonight. Thank you.

Have a great weekend and week, Greg! Happy reading.

  5. I got very little reading done from being sick in bed to the hurricane that skated our coast. Luckily no damage, just no tv or internet for 2 days. We have Sucker Punch and liked it. Can't wait to see what you think. Have a great weekend!

    1. I may have been giggling uncontrollably at some of those covers, but I admit nothing. And to be fair, these are movies that are perhaps a little obscure, or um, occasionally not very good, so don't feel too bad!

  11. Good job on getting some reading done last week! I Haven't gotten any done in awhile. I ended up binge watching The 100 after you mentioned it in a few of your Sunday Posts and really enjoyed it. Do you have any other Netflix recommendations? Have a great week!

  50. Blogging and reading?! Check you out with you getting all motivated. I usually find you manage one or the other but never usually both. And you're adding Sucker Punch to the movies that suck list? Love it. I mean, the film wasn't great, from what I remember, but I absolutely adored the soundtrack so there's that.
