  1. Now that is a cover that says so much in a simple, elegant picture.

  2. What a great cover...but then, dog! Sometimes that's all it takes to make me happy!

  3. I admit, I haven't read that classic. I will look for an audio version. Great cover art. Sometimes I do like it when old overs are revamped for an updated version that's appropriate to the time period of the story.

  5. Been a long time since I've read this one, but that is a fabulous cover. That splotch of white highlighting the dog's head grabs my eye. Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a super weekend.

    1. I think that is a beach down there and there's some hidden detail, like a cave maybe if I remember right (I saw a blow up of this one).

  6. What an excellent cover. I love the colours and the fact that I didn't even notice the dog at first.

    1. The dog can be easy to miss, as can the shipwreck.

  7. That is one pretty and simplistic cover! I love sunsets and sunrises on book covers! They look magical tbh :) And I thin Robinson Crusoe is among my favourite classics !

  8. Love this book cover!! I love how it takes up the whole book. Like it's not a different one on the front and a different one on the back. :D

  10. I love this cover! Sometimes simplicity is the best. I read this book in school a few years back, and remember kinda not liking it. (you have to agree, if a book is required reading for school, you won't really like it XD)

  12. Such a gorgeous cover. I love its simplicity and the color palette. It looks way better than the copy I have sitting on my bookshelf, that's for sure.

  13. Nice art style for a cover. And I like that there's a dog ont he cover. But the vibrant colors of the sky are what really stands out for me.
