Bookcover Spotlight #74

A Time of Exile (The Westlands, #1)

This is one of my favorite covers- I like the nighttime scene, with the ruined tower in the background and the rolling plains. The sense of a wide open space, and especially the tents and pavilions in the far background.

  1. This cover is so quaint and lovely :) Great choice! Would you mind if I borrowed this meme for my own posts every now and then? I would credit you, and provide the link back to your blog as well :)

  2. I really like it too. You tend to lean in to peer past the characters to what is revealed behind. The colors are lovely too.

  3. I totally agree. This cover makes me think of being out in the wide open in a sort of desolate place. Thanks for sharing!

  4. I love those tents in the background. It makes me want to know who is inside them.

  5. The clothing and scenery reminds me a bit of Star Wars! Minus the tents of course LOL but it still gives me that vibe :)
