Sunday Post #84

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey

This has been a very quiet week on the blog, no posts- just too much going on. I've started watching Mako Mermaids it's set in Australia. Wherever they are filming it is a nice area.

This week I'll have reviews of The Mystery Off Glen Road and another Hardy Boys post as well. I'm on a roll with these of late and have several more in the pipeline as well. In fact, I'll have to read something NON Hardy Boys related soon or this will turn into a retro blog. Also just a heads up- Rathe Be Reading YA will also be reviewing The Mystery off Glen road this week, so check out her thoughts as part of her Retro Reads

  3. I loved Trixie Belden. I have nearly a complete set of the books. I'm missing number 38. I've seen it go for over $70 on eBay! I will confess that I didn't read all the Trixie books. They kept going in and out of print and I outgrew them.

  5. My daughter LOVES that show! I just noticed on Netflix they had the second season and she has already watched it twice :)

I seriously can't get enough of those covers someone need to make a poster with them all, that would be so cool!

Have a great week, Greg! Happy Reading!

  16. I've never heard of Mako Mermaids, I'll have to check it out.

I've been enjoying your Hardy Boys reviews and as for being a retro review blog, why not? There's no end of blogs that review newer books but blogs that review older books are hard to find. Why shouldn't older books be loved too?

Lovely to see another Trixie Belden there!

  22. That mermaid show looks like a lot of fun! And you're clearly having fun with the vintage MG/YA mysteries, too. One of these days, I should reread my Judy Bolton collection. :-)
