Sunday Post #9

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It's a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead

This week I reviewed A Dance With Dragons by George RR Martin here. I did both a non- spoiler review and a review WITH spoilers, feel free to comment on either. I'd love to hear your thoughts, and if you have already read the book let me know what you thought about the surprises and plot twists.

  1. lol...I think every guy wanted James Spader's hair in the '80's! Such a great classic to watch and he did have all the best lines! I didn't read your review of A Dance With Dragons because I just don't want to know anything until after I've had the chance to read it. Which will probably be a while from now. I'm sure both reviews were kickarse though!

    Have a great week!

    1. No doubt, he's the best part of that movie! Understand about the review, it occurred to me that I gave too much away maybe in my non- spoiler one, by naming a POV. So maybe just as well! :)

      Have a good week!

  4. I'm a huge James Spader fan, but for me, it was Boston Legal and The Practice. That's when I first became a fan.

    Have a great week!

  6. Hmm, I never considered Steff (for Andie) before, but it makes sense. He was definitely the most interesting and beautiful character!

    1. They are addicting, I've read through a couple times, once back when they were new and again recently. They take a while to get through tho! :)

  8. I have been patiently waiting for Marvel's Agents of SHIELD since it was first announced. Now only a couple more weeks to go and we'll be able to watch it on TV. Yay! Excited.

I still have my Game of Thrones paperbacks, sitting on my bookshelf, somehow I still haven't started reading them. :(

    1. Thanks, you too! Yeah I'm not sure I'd do that very often :) but this one I wanted to talk about spoilers without giving away to much for people who haven't read it yet...

  10. Oh, Steff. I agree that James Spader will always be Steff to me. Though I can certainly see him playing a villain, both in Avengers and in his new show, The Blacklist, thanks to the attitude we got from Steff in Pretty in Pink. Ah, should be interesting.
