We have warm weather th...Winterfrost looks so cute! We have warm weather this week after a week of freezing temps, but no snow here (I'm in Georgia we only get snow at the worst possible moment). It's in the 60's right now. I would love to have snow days like you have, but are snow days are a mess. We get maybe 3 hours of true powder, then it becomes slush and then we end up on the nationwide news because no one can get home, lol. <br /> The Open House sounds like so much fun! And yes, after a while when the snow is all dirty it's less peaceful. :) <br /><br />Planet of Exile was a favorite of mine as a kid, so I'm partial to it that way. I still think it's an interesting story, and I have not read a lot of the other work so I don't know how it holds up, but it is a story I enjoyed. After a few days of near accidents on the road and the snow pushed to the side and covered with car exhaust... not so much :( Enjoy your beginning of winter when everything is more fun.<br /><br />I checked out the Planet of Exile book. Interesting concept! I like fantasy more than sci-fi but this sounds good. Some reviews online say that her later writings are even better and this was one of her first. It was down right frigid here on the Gulf Coast. My brother went back home and put his house on the market. He's going to move down here now that he's retiring. Says it's his last winter there. I love winter down here but I do miss the wonderland at Christmas. We have cotton for snowballs here.
